Why We Built This Site
Alabama gives the public access to many public records, but Houston County records are split by office and case type. The Circuit Clerk handles circuit, district, domestic relations, juvenile, traffic, small claims, and criminal case records. The Probate Office handles estates, guardianships, conservatorships, adoptions, name changes, marriage certificate recording, and recording work. The Sheriff's Office manages jail confinement information and sheriff contacts. Municipal courts handle many city traffic, ordinance, and misdemeanor matters.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
